Dear Friends,
This is my first message to you, the community of Western New York, about a new activity in our community, regarding the Jewish nation at large and the of State of Israel in particular. The purpose of this website is to give Jews and non-Jews pertinent information about Israel during its current struggle for survival. This is a struggle for the preservation of the Zionist dream, which is an inseparable and indispensable part of Judaism. This struggle is the result of a brutal campaign launched by Muslim and non-Muslim anti-Zionists aimed at eliminating Zionism and the Jewish state. Without these two entities the Jewish nation will wither and eventually disappear. To quote Martin Luther King Jr.: “… what is anti- Zionism? It’s the denial to the Jew of the fundamental right that we justly claim for all nations of the globe. It is discrimination against Jews because they are Jews. In short it is Anti-Semitism.”
The ominous anti-Israeli Arab rhetoric coming out from Cairo, Baghdad, Damascus and Teheran cannot and should not be ignored. The small Jewish nation, with over 40% of its members living now in Israel, is in a life-threatening combat with the overwhelming Arab nation, which is supported by a billion non-Arab Muslims and some non-Muslims.
It cannot be overemphasized that this conflict is not about curfews in Arab cities, IDF roadblocks, or Jewish “settlements” in some “disputed territories”. What is in dispute is the very existence of the Land of Israel, the homeland of the Jewish people. The one hundred-year-old assault by the Arabs is aimed at eliminating the Jews from their homeland and denying the historical ties of the Jewish people with the ancient Land of Israel.
At a time when Arabs are acquiring weapons of mass destruction, the threat to the Jewish nation is greater than ever before. It is greater than it was during the Nazi Holocaust. The Nazis did not try to deny the existence of the Jewish historical homeland. This is why it is impotant for our community to be kept informed about political and military developments and respond accordingly.
The information disseminated on our site will be factual and the analyses presented will be limited to rational discussions. “We will give you the facts and you will decide”. This site has links also to Arab websites to help people interested in hearing both sides of the conflict. Those who wish to debate any issue can present their views by "feedback" e-mail letters. These letters will be published weekly in the “Comments” section of the site and the Editor-in Chief may respond to some of the comments. We reserve the right to reject anonymous e-mail messages and blatant anti-Semitic statements.
