Happy New Year friends,

This is my second message to you, the community of Western New York.  Since our website has not been visited by many so far, I will leave my original message intact and add this one on top.  We have had so far rather few visitors to this website which is known to people only by word of mouth. It will take a month or more until Buffalo-Israel-Link is recognized by the major Internet “search machines” such as Google or Yahoo.  What I would like to ask you at this point is to let us know of your visit. Even "Hello" is fine.

During last week we received several special messages we wish to share with you. First is the radio address of Ed Koch for the new year. Second, there were three personal accounts from Israel, one by Judy Balint and two by Solly Ganor; the first one, like Judy's account, tells about an encounter with an Israeli Arab, the other one is a personal account of a survivor of the Holocaust, giving a true insight into the perceptive writing of Solly. Another essay of special interest is "Rewarding Terrorism" by Gary Bauer and Morton Klein, president of the ZOA. Each of those five new inputs makes worthwhile reading.

In the near future we will also post on our website articles about Israel from the Buffalo Jewish Review. This will allow you to read these and save them on your computer for future reference.

I am looking to hearing from you soon,

David F. Greenwald
